“Teachers are paid close to nothing. Their meager salaries are not delivered on time. Their housing is pathetic. As though that is not enough, they have to teach hungry students who are also over enrolled and have to walk long distances to get to the nearest school only to end up sitting on the floor due to lack of desks. Text books and other teaching aids are not there to assist students to learn better,” observed one Teacher from a rural school.
